Recently, life has been rather hectic in my neck of the woods, as I’m sure it’s been for you as well, and I almost didn’t notice the change of seasons. Then, all of a sudden, it’s started raining leaves all over the place, and fall descended upon me. I love this season. The colors and the smells soothe my mood perfectly and I find myself inclined to write for longer hours, a cup of Earl Grey handy. This year, it will be the first time that we won’t be home to give away the trick or treats to the neighbor kids. We’ll be off-roading for a few days and won’t be home on Halloween day. I’m excited for the trip, but I’m also a bit sad because Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I enjoy seeing the kids coming back year after year, growing older, and commenting about my painted pumpkins collection. And because of my writing schedule, I also won’t be able to add to the collection this year before I leave, but I’ll paint a new one as soon as I’m back. In the meantime, have a great and safe Halloween!

Here is my latest interview if you want to know what I’m doing instead of painting pumpkins 🙂
